One
of my favorite vocal riffs by the mysterious "Carloto Perla" heard on
several Jess Franco soundtracks, including the 1981 erotic-spy thriller
LA NOCHE DE LOS SEXOS ABIERTOS. A title overdue for a HD release, it's
an absolutely gorgeous film. Another amusing Jess Franco "joke" since he may well be the
actual singer, utilizing yet another beard. At least it sounds a bit like him. Perla is also credited
as a singer on DEVIL HUNTER and LA ESCLAVA BLANCA (1985), two Franco-directed
jungle adventures from the 1980s.
