Second episode of the web miniseries inspired by OASIS OF THE ZOMBIES.
Enter the lair of Howard Vernon!
See the evil cult abduct an innocent girl!
Watch robot Andros clash with the green-eyed Monster!..
So, Robert I am a horror host here in Kalamazoo and, oddly enough, Boston and would like to broadcast chapters of your web flick. All credit remains your. Interested?
Arte the early indoor scenes inspired by El SINIESTRO DR. ORLOFF? By the way, why the intertitles? A trubute to silent movies? or were there problems recording sound in certain scenes?
As writer I was mainly inspired by Franco's LA VENGANZA DEL DR. MABUSE and perhaps EL SECRETO DEL DR. ORLOFF, but I do like the look of EL SINIESTRO very much. I think it's my favorite Dr. Orloff film. I was also very influenced by Lang's MABUSE series, especially THE 1000 EYES OF DR. MABUSE.
I had written some intertitles but most of the ones in the film were originally written as dialogue. The director found they worked better as intertitles and we were both interested in creating a silent film aesthetic. I think they do work better as intertitles.
