NEVROSE.

Is it NEVROSE or the Spanish version? I think the murders were more graphic in the Spanish version under whatever title you want to call it (my copy has no title card).

It's an image from the Spanish language version which doesn't have on onscreen title on the DVD R which I have. This is a screenshot from one of the gory murders he enacts. There are several murder-blood drinking sequences which don't appear in the export versions. There is still another earlier Spanish version which has never been released because Franco was requested to change it by the producer. So, the bloody murders were added. That makes at least four versions.

Wow, thanks for pointing out the Spanish version, I actually like this film quite a lot and I don't think I've seen that!
I hope you don't mind, but I've done a spin off of this quiz at my blog for fun. The poster artist for this film did a great job with exactly that shot.

The image also appears in REVENGE IN THE HOUSE OF USHER, if that can be considered the English language version of NERVOSE, and it's very different from EL HUNDIMIENTO DE LA CASA USHER, which was itself changed from Franco's original CRIMES OF USHER, upon the request of the producer.

The NEVROSE version plays much better in French with English subtitles. The English dubbing of Antonio Mayans is cringe-inducing (especially when he first introduces himself to Lina Romay's maid).
