ReplyDeleteVery close, Doug. COMMANDO MENGELE was the title of ANGEL OF DEATH. Chris Mitchum is in the film. But the still is not of him.

ReplyDeleteI wish I could enlarge the pic, Doug. Very interesting cast including Jack Taylor and Howard Vernon. It's full of Franco actors. Yes, David got the director, you got the title and Mario ID's the actor as the same one who is in SADOMANIA. At least, it looks a lot like him.

ReplyDeleteOh yes...I love love LOVE Maniac Killer! Years ago I had a little website called SADOMANIACS INC.-which was a Eurocine tribute. Maniac Killer is one of my faves because it takes all the cheapest aspects of the company (minus the chopshop factor of the splice togethers) and showcases them. Besides, you have Bo Svenson, Robert Ginty and CHUCK CONNORS side by side with Stanley Kapoul, Olivier Mathot and Commando Mengele fave, Dora Doll.

Hmm...A Eurocine blog? That would be one I'd read for sure. I still have my review of the utterly bizarre and funny Men For Rent around here somewhere.
