Ricardo Bofill: Architectural Designs

Bofill's cubist designs must have appealed to Franco who is always aware of odd, interesting shapes and weird environments. He set several films in Bofill constructs including LA COMTESSE PERVERSE (1973), SHE KILLED IN ECSTASY (1970) and EUGENIE/EROTISMO(1980).

I recently wacthed Daughter of Dracula and The Erotic Rites of Frankenstein back to back and thought they shared a lot of the same places as Virgin Among The Living Dead. For me it gave Daughter of Dracula a VIRGIN feel rather than a Dracula contra Frankenstein feel. All three sharing Howard Vernon, Anne Libert and Britt Nichols gave the three flicks a unique cohesion that I rather enjoyed.
Just an observation.
