I'm now enjoying the invigorating, infectious Bruno Nicolai score for Jess Franco's 1967 Eurospy parody, AGENTE SPECIALE L.K.: OPERAZIONE RE MIDA/LUCKY THE INSCRUTABLE on CD. But when are we going to get a deluxe, OAR, RI DVD presentation of this wonderfully entertaining number?
Hopefully, those friends of Jess at Severin or Mondo Macabro are reading this and thinking....

I know a semi-widescreen, semi decent looking bootleg of this (or maybe even two different bootlegs) have appeared here and there over the past couple of months, one I think from a nice, partially-letterboxed foreign TV broadcast digitally recorded and with the English dub synched up. (I don't own it though). A R1 disc would be optimal and I would have preferred a restored LUCKY over stuff like KISS ME MONSTER which has had multiple VHS and DVD releases.
I don't know of any good DVD of this anywhere. It was shot in eye popping Technicolor and the 2.35:1 Techniscope format would be crucial. Franco had already mastered 2.35:1 composition by this time and the Pop/Op Art visuals need to be experienced in sharp def and rich color to be fully enjoyed. I've also only seen a partially letterboxed old blurry video of this. Too bad. It should be on DVD fro a BU, Severin or MM or somebody.
